While doing research on an ancestor who served in WWI I found myself at the Pennsylvania State Library website. Having done hundreds of hours of research at the Library which is conveniently located on the Capital Complex Grounds in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,  I thought I would check out their online digital collections site. As I was going through the catalog I found this regimental history book that grabbed my attention. The book is fully scanned online and free to read. It has photos of the officers and lists the soldiers names and in some cases cities they lived in. Looks to be a very informative book, especially for anyone who may have had an ancestor serve in this unit. This Division was composed of men from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. The Division became the 80th Airborne Division after WWII.
