Pennsylvania At War

October 26, 2016

Pennsylvania at War Commemorates two of the 20th century’s greatest conflicts, World War I and World War II, and explores their impact at home and across the globe, through stories and related artifacts from the collections of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC). Arriving at the launch of the USS Pennsylvania

PHMC has incorporated the #PAatWar hashtag in our social media postings from the Pennsylvania Trails of History and The State Museum of Pennsylvania as we highlight PHMC events commemorating World War I and World War II. Through #PAatWar, we will share updates on exhibits, workshops and lectures posted by museums, historical societies and other organizations across Pennsylvania as they honor they 75th anniversary of the December 7, 1941 bombing of Pearl Harbor and the centennial of America’s entrance into World War I.

We invite you to join PHMC and the #PAatWar hashtag campaign and tag your social media postings promoting your World War I and World War II events.
